ETO Markets recently hosted a highly informative Traders Workshop in Malang, Indonesia. The event, held on 25 April 2023, served as both an introducing broker meeting and a client seminar for ETO Markets to expand into Indonesia. We actively engaged with traders and enthusiasts from the region, fostering a strong presence and creating a platform for knowledge exchange.
With an engaged more than 50 participants, the seminar provided valuable insights into technical analysis, Expert Advisors (EAs), trading strategies, and risk management. One of the distinguishing aspects of ETO Markets' seminar was its appeal to non-traders. By providing a comprehensive introduction to technical analysis and trading insights, we welcomed individuals with little or no prior trading experience, empowering them to start their trading journey confidently.
Technical Analysis Session
The seminar kicked off with an engaging session, which provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of technical analysis. Various aspects of technical analysis, covering chart patterns, trendlines, and support and resistance levels were discussed. Participants also gained insights into different indicators used to analyse market trends effectively. This session proved crucial in equipping attendees with the knowledge needed to make informed trading decisions.
Trading Strategies and Risk Management Session
Trading strategies and risk management were also discussed. The group shared valuable insights, highlighting the use of three indicators as a reference for identifying trends and determining optimal entry and exit points. Attendees also learned about setting accurate stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) levels to manage risk effectively. The session emphasized the importance of understanding market correlation to identify trends across various currency pairs. Additionally, participants received valuable guidance on trading psychology and effective fund management techniques.
EA Trading Session
Our business partners provided attendees with a comprehensive introduction to Expert Advisors. The group shed light on the advantages of using EAs, such as automating trading strategies, achieving precise execution, and reducing emotional biases. Participants were introduced to popular EAs used in futures trading, and practical demonstrations showcased the functionality and effectiveness of these automated tools. This session proved invaluable in helping attendees understand how EAs can simplify and enhance their trading experience.
